Soft Autumn
Also called Muted Autumn.
Soft Autumn suits gently warm, low-contrast coloring: hair in soft browns and dark blonds, skin with a warm-neutral cast, and eyes that mix colors rather than declare one. You look best in quiet shades. Fully saturated color tends to wear you, while softened earth tones let your face come forward.
Think late autumn haze. Sage green, olive, terracotta rose, and dusty rose each have a touch of gray folded in, and so do neutrals like oyster and camel beige. That shared softness is why nearly everything in a Soft Autumn wardrobe goes with everything else.
This season sits on the border between autumn and summer. Its sisters are True Autumn, which turns the warmth and richness up, and Soft Summer, which keeps the mutedness but cools it down — the two directions to try if this palette feels close but not exact.

Wearing it
Build around oyster, camel beige, warm taupe, and soft espresso. These gentle neutrals carry the whole wardrobe, and because everything in the palette shares their gray-softened cast, they pair with all of it.
Put one muted color over one soft neutral: terracotta rose with oyster, or sage green against warm taupe. Low contrast is the point; let the shades blend rather than pop.
Skip vivid brights and stark white, which shout over this coloring. Reach for dusty rose and muted teal when you want color that still feels like you.
