True Spring

Also called Warm Spring.

True Spring is the warmest season. It suits coloring with an unmistakable golden cast and natural brightness — strawberry blond to warm brown hair, skin that glows gold or peach, and clear, warm eyes. Coral pink, peacock green, and grass green look alive on a True Spring; anything ashy or muted dims the whole effect.

Warm and clear at once, this palette is richer than Light Spring, sunnier than any autumn palette, and never dusty. Its brightest notes are sunflower, peach, tomato red, and apple green, with cream and cognac as the base.

Its sister seasons bracket that brightness: Light Spring is the same warmth at a gentler volume, and Bright Spring pushes the clarity toward winter-level contrast. If you can wear these colors but crave more punch, Bright Spring is your next stop.

Build the wardrobe on cream, warm beige, and cognac, with warm chocolate playing the role black plays for other seasons. Golden neutrals keep the sunny colors believable.

Pair one clear warm color with one golden neutral: sunflower with cream, or tomato red against warm chocolate.

Skip pure black and anything ashy or gray-cast; they switch the light off. Reach for grass green and coral pink when you want energy.
